David Pearce, Small Paintings


These small landscapes are painted "plein-air" and so being much more traditional in there composition. David uses these little paintings along with the drawings to develop his more intriguing and unique studio paintings.

The colourful abstract works have a playful edge juxtaposed against a simple yet sophisticated composition. The viewer is teased and challenged by the ambiguity of familiar objects.
